Career Prospects in Aviation

It was during the summer of 2021 when I sat at my desk wondering where the World is heading because of the Corona Pandemic, trying to understand of any possible future the Airline industry holds, and I was left searching for answers.

Today, I can confidently say that despite the possibility of a 3rd wave or any future waves, the Airline Industry has picked up speed and is fast heading towards unimaginable growth. I wish to support my statement with the below statistics from IATA (International Air Transport Association) (ref : https://airlines.iata.org/news/growing-demand-shows-need-for-travel-freedom)

In the period around 8 February 2022 (7 day moving average) the number of tickets sold stood at 49% of the same period in 2019. In the period around 25 January 2022 (7 day moving average) the number of tickets sold stood at 38% of the same period in 2019. The 11-percentage point improvement between the January and February periods is the fastest such increase for any two-week period since the crisis began. These numbers are a testimony of the fact that the demand of jobs in the Aviation sector is at its highest compared to the last 2 years. It is supported by the fact that growing access is available to vaccinated travelers. This is great news for the Aviation Industry and scores of students who have built their passion around the Aviation Industry. The ever increasing travel demand, couples with the fact that the demand for jobs in the Airline industry is growing at a fast pace, and the industry is on its way to position itself as one of the lead generator of jobs.

If you are a student who is passionate about getting into the Aviation sector, this is the right time to enroll for an IATA certified course and build your career.
